Why we started

Too many people have a story about a kitchen renovation that went wrong: a vague quote that ballooned, trades who blamed each other, a project that dragged on for months. We started Kitchen Renovation Wellington because it does not have to be that way. By keeping design, cabinetry, benchtops and installation under one accountable team, and by quoting a genuine fixed price before any work begins, we remove the two things that cause most renovation stress: uncertainty about cost and confusion about who is responsible.

We are deliberately local and independent. We are not a franchise and we do not run an expensive showroom that you pay for in every quote. Instead we come to your home, design around how you actually live, and put your budget into the things that matter: quality cabinetry, durable benchtops and a finish that lasts.

How we work

Every project starts with a free in-home consultation, because a great kitchen begins with understanding your space and your habits. From there we produce a 3D design and a detailed fixed-price quote, refine it with you until it is exactly right, then manufacture and install with one coordinated team. We handle the plumbing and electrical coordination so every stage meets the New Zealand Building Code, and we confirm your key dates in writing so you can plan your life around the work.

We are based at 5 Marine Parade, Oriental Bay, and we design and build kitchens right across Wellington, from Lower Hutt to the Kāpiti Coast and everywhere between. Whether you want a full renovation, a budget-friendly makeover, or a single new benchtop, we would love to help.
